Secretary

Margaret Gallagher, the secretary at the Capital Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine clinic in central London

I have worked for Simon for 8 years. I grew up in County Clare in Ireland. When I finished secondary school I went to work in the General Solicitors Office, Department of Justice Dublin. I worked there for 10 years. I then took a career break and came to London for one year but then decided to stay. When I came to London I worked as a Legal PA in the City for 15 years. When I had my two lovely children I took time out to look after them until I came to work for Simon in 2009. When I started working for Simon I did not have any medical terminology.

I now absolutely love my job and find it very rewarding looking after all of the patients. I love the environment of working in the Wellington Hospital. I do all the clinic work from booking MRI scans, CT guided injections etc to scheduling appointments. I also turn the clinic letters around on a daily basis if at all possible. I enjoy working for Simon and endeavour to make his life as easy as possible. I enjoy cycling, walking and dining out with friends.
